Blog & News Social Responsiblity Kangni Smart Elevates Community Care: A Successful Blend of Technology and Compassion in Elderly Volunteer Services 2023-06-10 The carnival themed “Property + Elderly Care” and the “Time Bank” Elderly Volunteer Service into the Community event, hosted by the Gulou District Civil Affairs Bureau and co-organized by the Gulou District People’s Government’s Xiaguan Street Office, with the support of the Nanjing Elderly Volunteer Service Federation and participation from the Gulou District Time Bank Management Center and a group of caring enterprises, took place successfully at Shizi Mountain East Square in Gulou District on June 9. During the event, volunteers from various enterprises and organizations actively engaged, providing services such as consultations on common and prevalent diseases, free blood pressure and blood sugar measurements. Volunteers from the community home care and Time Bank Management Center initiated consultations on elderly care policies and services, effectively addressing the elderly’s concerns and assisting those in need to connect with home centers and “Time Bank” stations.
