KangniSmart won an award in the province’s creative innovation competition for auxiliary aids!

Recently, the 2024 Jiangsu Province Science and Technology for Disabled Persons-Assistive Devices Creative and Innovative Competition came to a successful conclusion. The competition attracted the participation of disabled people’s organizations, science and technology innovation enterprises, and individuals from all over the world. After a fierce competition, KangniSmart stood out from the crowd and won the second prize in “Innovative Products” of its innovative concepts and professional technology.

The competition, with the theme “Anchoring Demand for Development, New Chapter of Science and Technology for Persons with Disabilities,” was divided into two tracks: Innovative Product Category and Creative Design Category. Winners were selected based on network voting, online assessment, and on-site assessment. The final selection of winners focused on the innovativeness, applicability, and practicability of the works.

KangniSmart technicians provided an explanation and demonstration of the Kmini multifunctional comfort electric wheelchair at the competition site. The wheelchair, which was independently developed and produced, was showcased in terms of its product design, application scenarios, and featured functions. It was highlighted that the wheelchair can assist individuals with lower limb dysfunction, DMD patients, and semi-disabled elderly people during their home life and outdoor trips.

The Vice Director of Jiangsu Disabled Persons’ Federation, Mr. Qing, visited the site and experienced the features of the Kmini, such as the safety lock, automatic rotation, footrest, and backrest adjustment. He expressed his approval of the product’s unique design, convenient operation, and comfortable riding experience.

The award of the second prize in the innovative product category of Jiangsu Province Auxiliary Aids Creative Innovation Competition is not only a recognition of KangniSmart from innovative ideas to technical highlights, from team strength to market cooperation, but also an affirmation of the company’s future development potential.
